Chinese New Year !

Some pics from the frantic ~6 (or more) hours of fireworks here in
Beijing to mark the end of the dog year and the beginning of the boar
one.

for more than a week, fire crackers are used EVERYWHERE (Beijing
sounds like a war zone) and some fire works during the past nights as
well.

on new year's eve - people have been shooting fireworks for
hours (all over the city) and it all reached some sort of ultra-pick
climax session at about 20 minutes to midnight.

extremely unbelievable. firecrackers are being lit through the entire
night (until now - morning) - the sound track for the pics is one of a
'CNN report from Baghdad...'
