Eyal Shani

if there was one restaurant we wanted to visit before we head to HK, the Saloon was it.
a 3.5 hours of pure delight. Benny Lifshitz and Eyal and the crew give the show (and food) you are paying for. expensive and recommended to fans only.

second chance

a post i started in early July. as it will never be completed, here it is if only for the purpose of tracking....

the plot takes an interesting twist. interesting enough for a post, that's for sure. details will sure follow but for now I'll say these are quite amazing times. and I'm writing this just so that I remember these very moment down the road. an acquaintance told me this weekend that 'life will not challenge you with challenges you can't meet.' one of those sentences that when you hear them just when you need to -- > makes a positive impact on one's search for balance in this world.

'$199 my foot'

AT&T iPhone 3G Pricing Revealed

Posted: 01 Jul 2008 08:30 AM CDT

AT&T retail stores will be open at 8AM local time on July 11th, so be “iReady!” Existing customers who don’t qualify for an upgrade will have to shell out $399 and $499 for the corresponding iP3G model. Customers who don’t want to extend their current contract will pay $599 for the 8GB and $699 for the 16GB model. Current AT&T customers who want to upgrade to the iPhone 3G from whatever else they have will have to pay an $18 activation fee while new AT&T customers will pay $36. Voice and unlimited data plans (e-mail and Web) range from $69.99 to $129.99. $199 my foot. Maybe we should all move to Hong Kong.

Then move to Hong Kong. Hutchison has worked it out so that those in Hong Kong and Macau can spend as little as $24/month for data/voice. You’ll have to pay $377 for an 8GB iP3G, but it’s still the cheapest compared to those announced across various carriers/countries.
